You use a cocktail smoker and some cherry wood to smoke this cocktail right in front of your guests.
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces bourbon
- 1/2 ounce honey brandy
- 1/2 ounce vermouth blanco
- 1 tbsp Campari
- 1/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce sage simple syrup
- 4 dashes cherry bitters
- Cherry wood for smoking
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir until chilled.
- Place a large ice cube into a glass.
- Strain liquids into the glass.
- Set the cocktail smoker on top of the glass and add the wood chips to the smoker.

Use the kitchen torch to light the wood chips, add the desired amount of smoke, and slide the smoker over to seal the glass.
- Allow the smoke inside the glass until the desired smokiness is reached.
- Remove the smoker from the serving glass, add the brûléed lime to the rim, and serve.
